Wantagh's Al Iaquinta still can't fight in his home state of New York -- unless it's on camera in an independent TV pilot called "Choke Artist."

But his next UFC fight will be close to home. Iaquinta will face Rodrigo Damm in a lightweight bout at Foxwoods Casino on Sept. 5 at UFC Fight Night.  Both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout.

The card will be headlined by Jacare Souza and Gegard Mousasi in a middleweight bout that could help determine the next title contender for Iaquinta's Serra-Longo teammate Chris Weidman.

Iaquinta (8-3-1, 3-2 UFC) won three straight before losing to Mitch Clarke by second-round submission at UFC 173 in May.
