Aljamain Sterling beat his last opponent in July via technical knockout coming by way of strikes in the third round. The stoppage of Hugo Viana capped a near flawless display of mixed martial arts from the Uniondale fighter.

After the win, his second in the UFC, Sterling said: "I know I got a lot more in the tool bag."

Sterling, a Serra-Longo bantamweight fighter, will get another opportunity to display his skill set Nov. 7. The undefeated Sterling (10-0) will fight Frankie Saenz (9-2) Gagnon at UFC Fight Night in Sydney, Australia. Middleweights Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping headline the card.

Also fighting that night will be Sterling's Serra-Longo teammate Al Iaquinta, from Wantagh, against former "Ultimate Fighter" season winner Ross Pearson.

Sterling was first booked on the Oct. 4 card in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, against Mitch Gagnon, but he did not heal from an injury in time.
