Watch Baldwin native Chris Weidman as he prepares to fight UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva at UFC 162 in Las Vegas. Videojournalists: Mario Gonzalez and Mark La Monica (July 6, 2013)

In the span of eight days beginning Sept. 23, Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva will visit seven cities across the United States and Brazil to promote their rematch at UFC 168 in Las Vegas on Dec. 28.

Presumably, they will be asked many of the same questions in each city and offer the same answers. Expect quite a few of them to be about UFC 162 when Weidman upset Silva to win the middleweight championship.

The New York City stop is Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. at the UFC Gym on John Street. The event is free and open to the public. The first 300 fans will also be able to meet Weidman and Silva for autographs and photos.

The rest of their media blitz goes as follows:

Monday, Sept. 23: Los Angeles (UFC Gym in Torrance).

Tuesday, Sept. 24: Las Vegas (MGM Grand main lobby).

Wednesday, Sept. 25: New York City (UFC Gym at 80 John Street).

Thursday, Sept. 26: Bristol, Conn. (ESPN media day).

Friday, Sept. 27: Miami (Bayfront Park).

Sunday, Sept. 29: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Clube dos Marimbas).

Monday, Sept. 30: Sao Paulo, Brazil. (TBA)
