Disregard the "Shamrock / Ortiz" description that appears when you hit the Info button on your remote to see what fights will be shown on Spike's "UFC Unleashed" at 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.
That's so yesterday . . . like Gabriel Gonzaga being a viable heavyweight contender.
To drum up more interest in the final episode of the Georges St-Pierre/Dan Hardy "UFC Primetime" series, Spike will now be showing four never-before-seen-on-TV fights during this episode of "Unleashed" as its lead-in.
The fights to air are:
Clay Guida vs. Shannon Gugerty (from the UFC Live on Versus undercard)
Guida won submission of the night for this one. Expect Guida to be his usual high-energy crazy self in the cage.
Brendan Schaub vs. Chase Gormely (from the UFC Live on Versus undercard)
In his first bout since losing to Roy Nelson in "The Ultimate Finale" (Season 10), Schaub dismantled Gormely in 47 seconds. Schaub will be an exciting fighter to watch rise through the ranks in the heavyweight division.
Jeremy Stephens vs. Justin Buchholz (from UFC Fight Night 19)
Stephens picked up 30-large for knockout of the night.
Dennis Siver vs. Paul Kelly (from UFC 105)
Siver won this bout via a spinning back kick and earned knockout of the night's $40, 000 bonues. Repeat: TKO win by spinning back kick to the midsection.
