John Dodson is 5-foot-3 and that will never change. He'll continue to fight people taller than him.

And that's just fine with him because he's as fast as can be and packs enough power in that left hand of his to make people take notice.

Dodson delivered a monster left hand right behind the right ear of TJ Dillashaw that led to the TKO 1:54 into the first round on Saturday night. With that knockout, Dodson won the bantamweight division of Season 14 of "The Ultimate Fighter" and a six-figure contract with the UFC.

Dillashaw (5-1) moved in toward Dodson and threw a straight right. Dodson (13-5) sidestepped it and countered with a left hook that dropped Dillashaw.

Dillashaw's legs split as he fell to the ground and then bounced right back up. Dodson  dropped him again with a left hook and followed with hammer fists until referee Herb Dean stopped the bout.

Dodson was also awarded $25,000 for winning the TUF 14 knockout of the season for his semifinal win over Johnny Bedford.
