Michael Bisping had his pick of punches to land on the face of Jason "Mayhem" Miller in the second round. Same scenario in the third round.

Bisping picked apart Miller and delivered as thorough a bully beatdown possible with a TKO of Miller 3:34 into the third round of the middleweight main event at the Ultimate Finale 14 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

"He's a tough guy," said Bisping (23-3). "I knew if I was going to finish him, I'd have to have a high work rate."

Bisping finished the fight with a series of punches and knees to Miller's side in the middle of the octagon before referee Steve Mazzagatti stopped the bout. Miller (34-9) was left with a small sausage below his left eye after eating Bisping's punches.

Miller was excited and energized for the first round and scored points with a takedown and good body control of Bisping up against the cage. Bisping wasn't happy with his first round as he looks to move up the middleweight ranks toward a title shot against current champion Anderson Silva.

"If I want to face the champion," Bisping said, "a first round like that wouldn't do it."
