Shinya Aoki, broken arms and extended middle fingers: Video

Just a little warning first: The end of this video from the Shinya Aoki-Mizuto Hirota fight is sick, disgusting, brutal and a bit more sick, disgusting and brutal.

And now for the background . . . Aoki snapped Hirota's arm at "Dynamite!! 2009" in Saitama, Japan on Dec. 31, 2009. The card was co-promoted by DREAM and World Victory Road.

But that's not what has been causing trash to be slung across all the Internets in the direction of Aoki. It was his brilliant display of sportsmanship -- sticking his middle finger in the face of the one-able-armed Hirota -- that has folks up in, um, arms. Sherdog's Jake Rossen offered the adrenaline defense for Aoki.
