Uriah Hall to fight Nick Ring at UFC on Fox Sports 1 debut card
Uriah Hall burst onto the scene with a pair on monstrous knockouts on the 17th season of "The Ultimate Fighter" only to fall short in the finale with a somewhat flat performance against Kelvin Gastelum.
Now, the Manhattan-based, Queens-raised, Jamaica-born MMA fighter gets another opportunity to show what he can do inside the octagon when he fights Nick Ring on Aug. 17 in Boston. The fight will be part of the UFC's debut card on the new station Fox Sports 1.
Officially announced fights by the UFC for that card include:
Travis Browne vs. Alistair Overeem
Thiago Alves vs. Matt Brown
Michael Johnson vs. Joe Lauzon
Uriah Hall vs. Nick Ring
