Noah Rubin's first appearance in the main draw of a Grand Slam event will be on Court 13 of the National Tennis Center Tuesday. The 18-year-old from Rockville Centre will play unseeded Frederico Delbonis of Argentina in the second match on the cozy court that officially seats 584.

"Perfect," Rubin's father and co-coach, Eric, said of the time and place of his son's big match. "But that's what I would have said no matter what court you would have told me."

Rubin yesterday practiced in the morning at Sportime on Randalls Island, then was sent home to relax. He had two previous practice sessions at the tennis center, where he hit with established pros who are in the U.S. Open draw, Steve Darcis and Wayne Odesnik.

"I just wanted him to watch his Netflix, do his tweeting and texting, anything that just has him working out his fingers," Eric Rubin said.
