THE DRAW: This beachfront spot (reopening in 2019 on May 16) with two floors of fun offers a simple American menu, live music and a DJ. Catering to beachgoers, guests are welcome to come in straight from the beach, sandy shorts and all. Guests can mingle around three different bars inside and out, play Jenga and Cornhole, and overlook the ocean on the upper deck. BOARDY BARN

THE DRAW: Deemed as a rite of passage for 20-somethings since 1970, the red and white striped tent is home to cheap beer, hot dogs and classic tunes. Don't forget to tip the bartenders to receive the famous smiley stickers and don't wear anything valuable -- it's almost guaranteed that you'll be getting messy (And don't wear orange t-shirts, it's what security wears). Montauk Brewing Co

THE DRAW: With the motto "Come as You Are," the Montauk Brewing Company "embodies the spirit of the town," at their red barn located behind the main shops and bars, and a short walk from the surf. THE DRAW: If you're looking for a Sunday Funday spot on Fire Island, Flynn's (pictured) is the place to be. Bring comfy shoes as you'll get plenty of chances to dance as the King Wellington reggae band plays outside while DJs spin inside. The attire is casual and frozen drinks are served. "It's Fire Island," said manager Luke LaPenna. "It's a great place to mingle and meet people. There's lots of single people that are out to have a good time." Houser's Bar

THE DRAW: In the heart of Ocean Beach, Houser's is home to good music and views of the Great South Bay, with a front-row seat to view a Long Island sunset. A snack, appetizer and food menu is available outside and there's a full service bar with a pool table inside. You'll find drink specials each day until sundown, which attracts a young crowd. "Some people refer to Houser's as a 'dive bar' but I take great pride in that because we're an old establishment," said proprietor Brian O'Handley. Houser's is open through Columbus Day. Rockville Centre

THE DRAW: On the main strip of bars in Rockville Centre, Kasey's (pictured) has happy hour from 4-8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, there's a DJ downstairs with different drink specials throughout the night. Rooftop 32 is 25 and older, and one of Long Island's only rooftop venues, featuring live bands and DJs. For updates, check out Instagram. A great spot for night owls, the crowd tends to start as a mix of all ages (over 21 of course) following the after-work crowd but past midnight expect a bustling scene of twenty-somethings.

THE DRAW: A quick walk from the train station, Churchill's has two bars -- one indoor and one outdoor, which features heat lamps and a spacious seating area. THE DRAW: Many visit this popular spot in Babylon Village, which used to be an actual post office, to watch sporting events and eat loaded tater tots and a juicy burger. THE DRAW: Everyday there's something different at the Dublin'. Located along the Patchogue River, it's open during the warmer months (opens for 2019 on May 3) and has a busy event calendar. Tuesday, you can build your own burger, while Wednesdays are country nights with line dancing and live country bands. Party bands play live Friday nights, and Saturdays mean all day fun with live music and DJ sessions. Sundays start early with a 10 a.m. breakfast that's accompanied by a steel drum band and $5 beer specials, followed by bands at 4 p.m. Not satisfied with typical nightlife-style fun?
