Mark your calendars: the Peppa Pig Theme Park coming to North Richland Hills, Texas, announced it will have its grand opening on March 1, 2025.

The theme park was originally announced in 2023 and is the second of its kind in North America following one in Florida. Merlin Entertainment, the same company that runs the Legoland Discovery Center in Grapevine, Texas, is behind the theme park. The park was first slated to open this year before weather delays pushed the grand opening to next spring.

“The park aims to be a top destination for young children and their families, appealing to visitors from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond, making it an ideal spot for a memorable family outing and first theme park experiences,” according to a press release last week.

The theme park will have a number of rides inspired by the show, like Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride and Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster. It will feature several play areas such as Peppa Pig’s Treehouse and a few shows and dining options as well.

Presale tickets for the park will be available from Nov. 12 through Nov. 18 for those who sign up for the theme park’s newsletter. General admission tickets will go on sale Nov. 19. The park also offers a variety of packages, with the basic park admission-only tickets starting at $27.99.

The opening marks the beginning of a big stretch for entertainment in Dallas-Fort Worth. Universal theme parks are working on a Universal Kids Resort in Frisco slated to open in the first half of 2026.
