HAWAII Alaska Airlines is doubling its service from California's Bay Area to Kauai and the Big Island with flights seven days a week. The airline plans to begin daily, nonstop service from Oakland and San Jose to Lihue and Kona on March 12 with introductory one-way fares of $179. -- AP
