Zillow adds flood threat to listings
Zillow will start including climate threat risk scores for all for-sale homes listed on its website and apps. The data covers five potential risks: flooding, wildfire, high winds, intense heat and air quality. For homes at high risk, the listings will include insurance recommendations.
The flood risk score has major implications for homes in coastal areas such as Long Island. Recent data from the Federal Emergency Management Agency showed that Long Island’s coastal communities, especially those on the South Shore, are at the highest risk in the nation for repeated flood damage.
Zillow says the climate risk scores will be available before the end of the year on its website and iOS app. The feature will be added to the Android app early next year.

TikTok to end music service

TikTok videos have been credited with the rise of hit songs and new artists, and have led to clashes with record labels which have demanded higher payments for using their clips. — BLOOMBERG NEWS
