Jason Basil had a walk-off single to drive in Peter Satchell in the seventh inning to give Glen Cove a 4-3 victory over Bethpage in Nassau Conference AA-III baseball on Saturday. Sebastian Figueroa and Joseph Leftwich each went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Glen Cove (3-2-2). Robert Malvino struck out six in five innings and Ryan Sita earned the win in relief.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

East Islip 1, Eastport-South Manor 0: Alex Ciampi scored the game’s only run as a courtesy runner for Brady Kneisel in the top of the 13th inning on a double by Alex Johnston for East Islip (6-2) in Suffolk V. Kneisel also threw out two runners attempting to steal in the game. Thomas Costarelli struck out 13 in seven innings and Michael Tramaglini pitched five scoreless innings for East Islip.

Riverhead 6, Central Islip 5: Mark Gajowski had a walk-off double in the seventh inning for Riverhead (3-8) in Suffolk I. He finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and struck out 11 while allowing no earned runs in 4 1⁄3 innings.

SOFTBALL

St. Anthony’s 8, St. Joseph Sea 0: Mila Fiordalisi pitched a five-inning perfect game with nine strikeouts to lead St. Anthony’s (8-0) in CHSAA. This was her second straight no-hitter as she’s thrown 16 straight hitless frames.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

New Hyde Park 5, South Side 4: Kayden Erazo had a walk-off triple to drive in Sophia Humburg in the seventh inning for New Hyde Park (4-5) in Nassau IV.

Island Trees 4, Carle Place 2: Danielle Donahue had the winning two-run single in the top of the seventh inning to break a tie at 2 for Island Trees (2-6) in Nassau III. She also tossed a one-hitter.

North Babylon 1, Lindenhurst 0: Nina Vandernoth tossed a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead North Babylon (9-1) in Suffolk II. Megan Wegel had a double to drive in Aaliyah Lamarre in the sixth inning for the game’s lone run.

BOYS LACROSSE

Farmingdale 9, Syosset 8: Dean Kott scored with 49 seconds left in overtime off a feed from Sal Posillico to lead Farmingdale (6-4) in Nassau A. Brendan O’Keefe tallied two goals and three assists.

Holy Trinity 8, Uniondale 7: Danny Bergen scored the winning goal in double overtime to lead Holy Trinity (3-2) in non-league. Bergen also won 10 of 14 faceoffs. Gabriel Mason scored three goals and Greyson Miller had one goal and three assists.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

Floral Park 7, Bethpage 6: Ryan Connolly scored the winning goal with 2:26 left in overtime for Floral Park (9-1) in Nassau C/D.

Steven Baranoski had two goals and an assist.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Bayport-Blue Point 9, Westhampton 7: Kailey Bruckner had three goals and Aubrie Eisfeld, Julia Fusco and Ava Meyn each added two goals for Bayport-Blue Point (8-2) in Suffolk II. Maya Farnan had 17 saves for Westhampton (5-5).

FLAG FOOTBALL

Bethpage 12, East Rockaway 6: Kathleen Krummenacker had a 77-yard interception return for a touchdown with 55 seconds left in the game on a fourth-and-goal from the 3-yard line (80-yard fields are used). The score gave Bethpage (5-3) a 12-0 lead in Nassau II on Friday.
