Connecting caring communities and companies on Long Island
Newsday’s Together Long Island is a grassroots movement to bring companies, causes and communities together to build a better Long Island. It serves as a forum for celebrating community activism, corporate social responsibility, and charitable contribution.

Over 30 years, United Way of Long Island has helped 38,000 Long Island adults, families, seniors and veterans in need of home heating with Project Warmth, an emergency energy fund supported by corporate partners and individual donors. You can make a difference, too.

The Long Island Association started a Small Business Support Program in 2022 and over the past two years has distributed $500,000 in grants through its charitable arm, the LIA Foundation, made possible by the generosity of funding from Optimum Business.
