Long Island hires and promotions: Catholic Health Services

HEALTH CARE

Sam-Young Chwe of East Meadow, assistant vice president of financial reporting at Catholic Health Services in Rockville Centre, has been promoted to vice president of finance and corporate controller.

Dr. Pankaj K. Singhal of Bay Shore has been named chairman of obstetrics and gynecology/women’s health initiatives for Catholic Health Services and chief of gynecologic oncology for Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip. He was system director of gynecologic oncology at Catholic Health System in Buffalo.

BANKING

Daniel Gray of East Williston has been hired as a mortgage loan officer at Bank of America Home Loans in Garden City. He had a similar job at Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Melville.

Kevin Laing of Shelton, Connecticut, has been hired as vice president of information technology at Whitsons Culinary Group in Islandia. He directed product management at GE Capital in Stamford, Connecticut.
