Long Island hires and promotions: Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman

Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow has announced three new hires.
Jensen Ambachen, of East Meadow, has been hired as counsel for the condo and co-op group. He was senior attorney at the New York City School Construction Authority in Long Island City, Queens and a former state assistant attorney general in the real estate finance bureau in Manhattan.
Cynthia M. Thomas, of Locust Valley, has been hired as an associate in the corporate and securities group. She was an associate in the corporate department at Cullen and Dykman in Garden City.
Rachel Scelfo, of Babylon Village, has been hired as counsel in the land use and zoning group. She was counsel at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale.

Megan M. Tomlin, of West Islip, who is concentrating on matrimonial and family law.
Robert A. Flink, of Lindenhurst, who concentrating on criminal and vehicle forfeitures.
Anthony P. Delluniversita, of West Islip, who is concentrating on personal injury and civil litigation.
JillAllison Opell, of Westhampton, has been promoted from counsel to partner in the insurance practice at Dentons US LLP in Manhattan.
FINANCE
Richard Mazur, of Centerport, has joined the Siena Wealth Advisory Group in Melville, a private wealth advisory unit of Ameriprise Financial, as a financial adviser and managing director. He was a financial adviser and vice president at Wells Fargo Advisors in Melville.
TECHNOLOGY
Mary Caldiero, of Manorville, has been appointed digital marketing manager at SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals in Hauppauge. She directed e-commerce and Web merchandising at Positive Promotions in Hauppauge.
EDUCATION
James Stucchio, of Dix Hills, has been appointed deputy superintendent of the Hauppauge School District. He will also continue as assistant superintendent for business and operations.

Barbara Posillico of Huntington, founder of Life Center Counseling and Health Services in Huntington has been elected to the board of directors of the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence in Mineola.
