Long Island hires and promotions: Counties hospital council
BOARDS & ASSOCIATIONS
Kenneth Roberts of Setauket, president of John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, has been named chair of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council in Hauppauge.
Robert Abiuso of Valley Stream, counsel with Sahn Ward Coschignano in Uniondale, has been named a board member of the St. John’s Residence for Boys in Rockaway Park, Queens.
EDUCATION
David Dileo of Islip has been appointed district director of technology and accountability in the Babylon School District. He taught technology courses in the Tuckahoe district in Southampton.
James A. Ruck of Northport has been appointed interim principal of Herricks High School. He was principal of John H. Glenn High School in Elwood.
Jeffrey Myers of North Babylon has been appointed principal of Long Beach High School. He was assistant principal at Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School.
ACCOUNTING
Friedman LLP in Uniondale has promoted two professionals. Kate Bachety-Salatto of West Islip, senior manager, has been promoted to director. Noelene T. Sheridan of Rockville Centre, director, has been promoted to tax principal.
Anthony Lopez of Long Beach has been hired as a staff accountant at DSJ CPA in Massapequa. He was a tax intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Manhattan.
BANKING
William Araneo of Cutchogue has been appointed branch manager of Bridgehampton National Bank in Cutchogue. He was a manager of the bank’s financial services for the East End.
Stephanie Spadaro of Bellport has been hired as assistant branch manager for Suffolk Federal in Sayville. She was a licensed financial services representative at TD Bank in Westhampton Beach.
MUSIC
David Bernard of Manhattan has been named music director of the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra. He will also continue as music director of the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony in Manhattan.
