Dr. Adhi Sharma of Muttontown has been appointed senior vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. He had been serving as interim chief medical officer.

Dr. Christopher C. Raio of Dix Hills, currently chief of emergency medicine for Catholic Health Services in Rockville Centre, has been appointed chairman of emergency medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. He was vice chairman of emergency medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.

Marie Chantale Philippe of Selden has been appointed director of social work at St. Johnland Nursing Center in Kings Park. She was director of social work at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Port Jefferson Station and previously at Long Island Care Center in Flushing.

John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson has announced three new hires and one promotion.

Marisa Bisiani of Miller Place has been named director of infection prevention and employee health services. She was director of care management and allied health professionals at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in Patchogue.

Frank Christiano of Farmingville has been named director of environmental services. He directed environmental, laundry and hazardous chemical services at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn.

Keri Dunne of Kings Park has been named director of volunteer services. She was volunteer coordinator at the Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Commack.

Brandy Feliu of Coram has been promoted to assistant vice president for nursing professional development. She was magnet program director and a clinical instructor in the nursing education department.

ACCOUNTING

The Castellano, Korenberg & Co., a certified public accounting firm in Hicksville, has added six people.

Ken Godin of Huntington has been hired as manager. He was a senior manager at WeiserMazars LLP in Woodbury.

John Rizzolo of Selden has been hired as a supervisor. He was a manager at Wagner, Ferber, Fine & Ackerman in Floral Park.

Steve D'Amico of Howard Beach, Queens, has been hired as a senior accountant. He was a senior accountant at Posses & Chasan in Rockville Centre.

James Giovanelli of New Hyde Park has been hired as a senior accountant. He was self-employed and before that was a senior accountant at Richards, Witt and Charles LLP in Garden City.

Jack Nicoletti of Lynbrook has been hired as a staff accountant. He interned at Lerner & Sipkin CPAs in Manhattan. He graduated from the University of Albany majoring in accounting with a minor in business administration.

Doreen Mazzone of Seaford has been hired as executive secretary/marketing coordinator. She was a receptionist at Toscano & Associates in Mineola.
