Long Island hires and promotions: Fred Silverman, Spectronics

MANUFACTURING

Fred Silverman of Oceanside has been appointed chief financial officer at Spectronics Corp. in Westbury, which makes ultraviolet equipment and fluorescent materials. He was principal and chief financial counsel for Spectronics at Janover LLC, CPAs in Garden City and Manhattan.

BANKING

Signature Bank in Manhattan has two new hires.

Jason Birnbaum of Lloyd Harbor has been appointed group director and senior vice president. He was senior managing director, private banking and lending, at First Republic Bank in Manhattan.

Vincent Pensato of North Massapequa has been appointed senior client associate. He was an associate in relationship management at First Republic Bank in Manhattan.

Mangie Ly of Syosset has joined Homes By Mara Realty of Syosset as a licensed sales agent. She was a physician assistant at New York Cardiovascular Associates in Manhattan.

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has hired two licensed real estate sales agents.

Irina Khaimova of Manhasset has been hired for the Manhasset office. She held a similar position at Laffey Fine Homes in New Hyde Park.

Emi Shoga of Port Washington has been hired for the Port Washington office. She held a similar position at Accents in Port Washington.

LAW

Ackerman, Levine, Cullen, Brickman & Limmer in Great Neck has added three lawyers.

C. Jason Kim of Bayside, Queens, was senior vice president and counsel of the New York State Housing Finance Agency.

Ira Levine of Lake Success owned his own practice in Great Neck.

Jose G. Santiago of Middle Island owned his own practice in Coram and Uniondale.

Edward W. McCarty III of Bellerose Terrace has joined Vishnick McGovern Milizio in Lake Success as of counsel in trust and estate administration and litigation. He is a retired Nassau County surrogate.

Meghan M. Dolan of Northport has joined Campolo, Middleton & McCormick in Ronkonkoma as an associate. She was house counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in Hauppauge.
