Athletic apparel retailer Lululemon is opening a pop-up store at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
The pop-up will launch Friday — with a grand opening event that offers shoppers free outdoor workouts led by the Trainer Page, a Ronkonkoma fitness studio — and run through Sunday, according to a post on the mall's website.
Lululemon could not be reached for comment Thursday.
The Vancouver-based company was founded in 1998 and sells athletic apparel for yoga, running and other fitness activities.
In 2024, the company surpassed $10 billion in revenue for the first time in its history, according to its 2024 earning reports. Its current market share in the North American sports apparel market is 6.3%, according to financial research firm Morningstar.
“Our fourth quarter results exceeded our expectations as we continued to introduce more newness and innovation into our product assortment," CEO Calvin McDonald said in a March statement. "Our performance demonstrates the ongoing strength and resilience of lululemon and is a testament to the passion and dedication of our teams around the world."
There are more than 760 Lululemon stores globally, according to Lululemon's website. Long Island has three locations, including stores in Manhasset, at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station and at Roosevelt Field mall in Uniondale.

Newsday reported in February that Smith Haven Mall, where the new pop-up is opening this weekend, will undergo a multimillion-dollar revamp that includes higher-end stores such as Sur La Table and Zara. The revitalization is part of a larger initiative by parent company Simon Property Group Inc. to revamp its second-tier, or class B, malls.
The "entire interior of the mall is going to be redone. Food court’s going to be refurbished, all the common areas, the seating landscaping, the outdoor plazas will all be refurbished," Mark Silvestri, president of development at Simon, told Newsday in February.
The redevelopment is set to be completed by 2026, Newsday reported.
