HEALTH CARE

Dr. Jay Itzkowitz of West Hempstead has been appointed associate chief medical officer and chief quality officer for Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. He was the assistant director of the emergency department at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre and still works as an emergency medicine physician.
