Kim Kardashian, Kanye West dating rumors swirl
Reality star Kim Kardashian has started what appears to be a romantic relationship with her friend Kanye West.
Photographers caught Kardashian, 31, and rapper-singer West, 34, attending a showing of "The Hunger Games" in Manhattan Wednesday night, followed by the interactive theater experience "Sleep No More" on West 27th Street and then drinks at the Manderley Bar in the production's fictitious McKittrick Hotel set, reported Us Weekly. Then Kardashian left West's apartment Thursday morning wearing the same clothes as the night before, said MTV.com, which ran photographs. The two had lunch at Serafina, at Madison Avenue and East 79th Street, said People magazine, which noted Kardashian was scheduled to appear on "Today" Friday morning.
In addition, West on his new single "Theraflu," featuring DJ Khaled, sings, "I'll admit I fell in love with Kim around the same time she had fell in love with him," an allusion to Kardashian's estranged husband, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries -- as he then sings, "Well, that's cool, baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain't have Jay drop him from the team." Jay-Z has a minority stake in the team.
The song debuted Wednesday on Hot 97, but Universal Music Group then pulled it, calling it an unauthorized release, said E! Online.
Kardashian and Humphries' much-hyped marriage ended after 72 days. He is currently seeking an annulment, claiming that she married him as a TV stunt. Kardashian has insisted the marriage is real and is seeking a privately mediated divorce.
Humphries' spokeswoman did not return Newsday's request for comment.
Meanwhile, West's former girlfriend, singer-model Amber Rose, who is now engaged to rapper Wiz Khalifa, told Star magazine: "Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together" and accused West of cheating with the reality star, who was then dating NFL star Reggie Bush.
