Two of Broadway's leading musical ladies — Sutton Foster and Manhasset's Melissa Errico — will be lighting up the stage at Stony Brook University's Staller Center for the Arts.

Tony Award winner Foster, who is currently starring on Broadway in "Once Upon a Mattress," will be the headliner at Staller Center's gala on Feb. 1. "An Evening With Sutton Foster" will feature the star performing hits from her Broadway career including classics by Cole Porter and Stephen Sondheim.

Errico will also sing the hits of Sondheim in a special concert honoring the late songwriter on March 22, which would have been his 95th birthday.

Staller Center's lineup also includes the Great DuBois, a family circus show on Jan. 26; The Acting Company's production of Shakespeare's "A Comedy of Errors" on Feb. 8; "The Voice and the Violin," featuring soprano Larisa Martinez and violinist Joshua Bell (Feb. 15); and the New Orleans songbook presented by Jazz at Lincoln Center to ring in Mardi Gras on Feb. 21.

There will be plenty of laughs when comic Chris DiStefano does his stand-show on March 8.

Dance also will be on full display in two March shows — the Syncopated Ladies on March 14 and "Rhythm India: Bollywood and Beyond" on March 21 — as well as the Paul Taylor Dance Company on May 3.

Rounding out the season will be "Peter and the Wolf" presented by Staller Center Outreach Ensemble on March 30; the Starry Night concert series kicking off April 2; the 7 Fingers, a show blending circus, theater and dance on April 11 and 12; and the Emerson Legacy Series, featuring Paul Watkins on piano as he accompanies soprano Christine Goerke.
