On the finale of the OWN documentary miniseries about her, Lindsay Lohan said she had suffered a miscarriage during a two-week break in production.

"No one knows this," she told an interviewer on the eight-part "Lindsay," which concluded Sunday night, "and we can finish after this: I had a miscarriage [during] those two weeks that I took off."

After a pause, she continued. "It's a very long story, but that's why on the show when it says, 'She doesn't want to come down, she doesn't want to come down,' I couldn't move. I was sick. And mentally, that messes with you."

The "Mean Girls" star, 27, who was raised in Cold Spring Harbor and Merrick, did not reveal the father or how many weeks pregnant she was.

Also on Sunday's show, she again acknowledged her attempt to recover from substance abuse, noting, "There are drugs people have said that I've done that I've never touched."

She also spoke about "Inconceivable," a psychological thriller she announced at the Sundance Film Festival in January, but for which no director has been publicly named.

"We start in June," Lohan said. "I'm in a good place. I don't want to mess it up. I'm happy. The biggest thing I learned from this experience and doing this show is my work ethic is different. I have that fire back in me."
