Matthew Morrison could have used a tune from the Pied Piper last Sunday when he came home to find his house infested with rats.

Speaking on "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush's syndicated radio show in Los Angeles on Thursday, the "Glee" star, 32, said that when he returned to his Hollywood Hills home, "There was a huge rat in my bed and, like, poop and feces all over my bed."

Thinking the rodent was dead, "I put a bunch of plastic bags on my hand [and] went to grab him." But the rat, evidently just sleeping, "darted off. He went behind this chest by my bed." The rat then scampered downstairs, where Morrison caught him. "I got him, ran outside in my underwear [and] threw him in this faraway trash can."

But that wasn't the end. A half-hour later, Morrison found another rat on his nightstand. "He jumps on my bed . . . and he's looking at me like, 'What are you doing on my bed?' . . . So I end up catching him, too, and at 1:30 in the morning I check in at a hotel."

He called in the "pest guys." As for the house, he joked, "Now I want to put it back on the market!"
