Stephen Baldwin: Alec’s ‘SNL’ Donald Trump bit ‘a little too nasty’

“Faith of Our Fathers” star Stephen Baldwin, youngest of the Baldwin actor brothers, says he doesn’t find sibling Alec Baldwin’s “Saturday Night Live” Donald Trump impressions humorous.
“I don’t want to be a party pooper here, but I don’t think it’s very funny,” Stephen Baldwin, 50, who attended the third presidential debate Wednesday night in Las Vegas, told CBS News afterward. He conceded that his older brother has “got the voice down very well,” while noting, “I think it’s getting a little too nasty right now.”
Stephen Baldwin — a contestant on Trump’s reality show “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2013 and who describes himself as an Evangelical Christian and a supporter of Republican presidential nominee Trump — also told a collection of reporters, in a video clip posted at Mediaite.com, “When you ask me about Alec and his Trump impersonation, you know what I have to say. My honest opinion is it’s really not funny just because this election isn’t funny.”
Two-time Emmy Award-winner Alec Baldwin, 58, is scheduled to perform his Trump impersonation once more on this weekend’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” according to TheWrap.com. NBC has announced that film star Tom Hanks will host, with Lady Gaga as musical guest.
The Baldwin brothers were raised in the Nassau Shores neighborhood of Massapequa.
