New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Tuesday deflated rumors that he and his wife, German-Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, underwent serious marital difficulties during his recent NFL suspension.

"Is this really the forum for that? I guess so," Brady, 38, told the Boston radio station WEEI-FM/93.7 when asked about Us Weekly's story days ago that Bündchen, 35, consulted with a divorce lawyer after the quarterback had become irritable and argumentative in the wake of the since-overturned four-game suspension.

"We're in a great place, so I'll just say that," Brady continued. "I'm a lucky man. I've been very blessed with support from my family and certainly her, and there's no bigger supporter that I have than her and, and vice versa."

Brady and Bündchen were first seen together publicly in January 2007 after reportedly beginning to date just before Christmas.

They married in a small ceremony in Santa Monica, California, in February 2009, followed by a second, larger wedding that April at Bündchen's estate in Costa Rica. It was a first marriage for both. They have two children, Benjamin, 5, and Vivian, 2.

Brady also has a son, Jack Moynahan, born Aug. 22, 2007, with actress Bridget Moynahan, 44. Two months after the end of their relationship in 2006, the "Blue Bloods" star revealed she was pregnant.
