Bel Powley is set to star in a new horror film with Liv Tyler, according to Deadline.com.

Powley, a British actress, recently made a critical splash playing a sexually precocious girl living in 1970s San Francisco in "The Diary of a Teenage Girl." In her new film, "Wildling," Powley will play a young girl who has spent her entire life in a single room monitored by a figure she knows only as Daddy (Brad Dourif, of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"). At 16, she is rescued by a small-town sheriff (Tyler) and begins to experience the outside world for the first time.

"Wildling" is being produced by Maven Pictures, the company founded by Trudie Styler (wife of the musician Sting) and will be directed by Fritz Bohm.
