Sheen to return to TV set three weeks after rehab
Charlie Sheen is expected to return to "Two and a Half Men" in three weeks, TMZ reports.
The Web site says he'll actually spend two weeks in rehab, but his exit will coincide with the start of a one-week hiatus for the show.
If Sheen can return to the set two weeks from Monday, Warner Bros. can deliver the remaining six episodes for the season to CBS on time, TMZ says.
Meanwhile, Radar Online is reporting that Sheen had relapsed into using both alcohol and cocaine and couldn't put off entering rehab any longer.
"He loves his children and ultimately that's what convinced him to get help," a source told RadarOnline.com.
And TMZ adds that Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards warned people on the "Two and a Half Men" staff that Sheen badly needed help.
Richards contacted an executive from the show Monday morning and said she was concerned about Sheen relapsing and wanted someone to step in and persuade him to go to rehab, TMZ reports.
Sources connected with the show told TMZ when Sheen did not show up for work on Monday or Tuesday, it became apparent to Chuck Lorre, "Two and a Half Men's" executive producer, that tomorrow's filming was in jeopardy.
