Look back at 'Double Dare,' Nickelodeon's best game show
Nickelodeon was home to many game shows in the '90s and early 2000s, including the beloved "Legends of the Hidden Temple" and "Figure It Out," but "Double Dare,” which is returning to Nickelodeon this summer, reigned supreme. It did then, and today it still does in the hearts of many a '90s kid. In what other context were we encouraged to roll around in food and pick our noses? (The nose and ears were among the best obstacles, to be honest.)
Take a look at some memorable Physical Challenges and obstacles from the game show we still wish we could appear on.

The original version of the show, "Family Double Dare," aired from 1986 to 1993 with Marc Summers as host. It returned as "Double Dare 2000" in -- you guessed it -- 2000 with host Jason Harris.
