‘Fuller House’ full trailer released — and it’s packed with nostalgia
“Fuller House” arrives Feb. 26 on Netflix and — if social media along with an incessant background buzz are reasonably accurate indicators of audience interest — a vast, seething, crowd of Tannerites anxiously awaits its trip back to Tannerville. To sate their insatiable interest, a two-minute trailer was released Tuesday.
In this, the gang’s all here, or mostly all here — D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber). They’re the leads of this reboot, while Jesse (John Stamos), Joey (Dave Coulier) Danny (Bob Saget) and Rebecca (Hauppauge’s Lori Loughlin) are essentially off to the side in supporting roles, except in the pilot.
Whole new house, but same old/new faces, now all grown up.
The trailer sets up the premise well, establishing that “Fuller” is simply a generational shift, with the kids (D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy, who’s moved in) fulfilling almost the exact same roles as the adults (Jesse/Joey/Danny) 22 years ago.
