Paul McDonald is oing "Folsom Prison Blues" to close "American Idol." This is rock n' roll? Really?! Scotty McCreedy is kicking himself for not picking this.

He starts with "What's up you 'all?!" Totally up tempo, but I don't know, it's not a good fit for this song, which is more disturbing than energizing.

It's like he's spazzing out up there, dancing around, yelling at the crowd. He's trying to push us to have a good time and to clap, but it doesn't work that way.

Randy Jackson says, "I loved it!" Steven Tyler did, too, Jennifer Lopez calls it a "perfect way to end the show."

Yeah, they've given up judging and are just cheerleading.
