Sarah Palin as "Today" co-host?

Well, for one day only at least.

The morning TV battles get interesting, starting Monday morning when "Today" promises to bring aboard a "legend" -- no name given, but "Today" would very much like you to tune in to find out -- while Palin arrives as host-for-a-day Tuesday.

All this is, of course, in response to "GMA's" sneak attack with Katie Couric all week. (In other words: If anyone thought "Today" was going to sit back while "GMA" stole its rating crown for the first time in years, then "anyone" was sorely mistaken.

Per "Today," "Sarah Palin will . . . reveal a different side of her than you've seen before."
