LI's Tiffany Seely continues her 'Survivor' journey
Plainview middle-school teacher Tiffany Seely had more memorable moments on "Survivor 41" Wednesday night as she continued on through episode 4 of the CBS island-endurance competition.
"The tribe is doing so well because I'm" dominating, she riffed of her battered Yase tribe's recent stabilization. "It's not just 'cause of me; I was joking," she quickly added. "It was a group effort. And in 'Survivor,' it's such a me, me, me game at the end of the day that the teamwork often gets put aside. We've now learned to work together, and once you get a little bit of momentum under you, it just starts to go the right way."
In an episode highlight, she called her three remaining tribe members to a beach to witness "hundreds of baby turtles" newly hatched and making their way to the sea. Jairus "JD" Robinson of the Ua tribe later was voted out.
On Fox's "Alter Ego," in which CGI avatars perform in place of the real-life singers voicing them, Glen Head college student Samaera Hirsch, aka CGI avatar Misty Rose, was not among the eight performers on episode 5, which saw Danielle Cetani aka Phoenix Embers eliminated. Hirsch is set to perform next week as one of the remaining eight.
