TV Resume: Martin Short
Primarily known for his comic roles, Short joins "Damages" this season as Leonard Winstone, the attorney for a Madoff-like family. Here are other notable Short shows:
1. THE ASSOCIATES (1979-80)
On this forgotten ABC sitcom, Short played Tucker Kerwin, a young law school graduate working at a Wall Street firm.
2. SCTV (1982-83)
On the Canadian sketch series, his comic creations included albino entertainer Jackie Rogers Jr. and obnoxious attorney Nathan Thurm.
3. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (1984-85)
His one "SNL" season is remembered for his portrayal of über-nerd Ed Grimley (whom Short had originated on "SCTV").
4. PRIMETIME GLICK (2001-03)
Donning a fat suit, Short played eccentric talk-show host Jiminy Glick on this popular Comedy Central show.

The former was a short-lived NBC sketch comedy; the latter, a daytime talk show.
