Whitney Port takes a break at BCBG
Designer Whitney Port and model Selita Ebanks sat front row at the BCBG Max Azria runway show Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Port took a rare break from preparing for her own show, where she will showcase her Whitney Eve line on Wednesday at Lincoln Center.
“I am just in and out of fittings and hair and makeup test and model castings,” she said.
Though Port will be showing spring and summer wear, she also spoke about the styles for fall.
“I think the key to fall is definitely to mix and match; definitely mixing black with all sorts of pops of color,” she suggested.
The former MTV reality star wore a black crop top and a long navy skirt paired with ankle boots at the show.
Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross was also in attendance and expressed an interest in breaking into the fashion industry.
"I would love to have my own line," she said. "It would be a dream come true."
