Little ones visiting Adventureland in Farmingdale will be able to check out a new ride this summer.
The new helicopter ride replaces the original in Kiddie Land. The upgraded version allows kids to control the height they "fly" their helicopter. It also features Adventureland's mascot, Alfie. Children 54 inches or less can ride the helicopters with or without an adult.
Also new this year is a token-less arcade, which features rechargeable player cards with point bonuses. There are new arcade games, such as the Walking Dead, Quick Drop, as well as new prizes to redeem. Bottle Flip and Top Sin was also added to the midway games, where families can play Frog Bog, Whack A Mole, Long Shot Basketball and more.
Additionally, there is now a city hall, which includes the park's guest relations center and first aid station. City Hall is located in Bumper Car Plaza and will offer general information, special needs accomodations and more.
