Holiday fun for kids at Dees' Nursery
Dees' Nursery (69 Atlantic Ave.) in Oceanside is hosting a bunch of holiday events for kids. "Elf on the Shelf" movie nights will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 7 and 14 at 6:30 p.m. The fee includes an elf hat, Christmas ornament craft, scavenger hunt, popcorn and refreshments. Price: $17.
Pancake Breakfast with Mrs. Claus will be on Dec. 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 9:30 a.m. Mrs. Claus will read a story, kids will participate in crafts and a scavenger hunt, as well as a surprise visit from Santa. Pancakes for the kids, tea and coffee will be served. Price: $20.
The Gingerbread Pajama Night will take place on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will read stories and kids will decorate a candy gingerbread house. Children are welcome to wear their pajamas. Refreshments will be served for children and adults. Price: $25 per child. Kids and adults alike can also enjoy Holiday Movie Nights: "Elf on the Shelf" on Dec. 4, 6 and 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and "Rudolph Movie Night" on Dec. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $12.99 per child and includes storytime, a craft, popcorn and refreshments.
