Flo’s Luncheonette, the Patchogue offshoot of the historic Blue Point original, won’t make it to 2017. The 2-year-old eatery is vacating its West Main Street location to make way for Blue Point Brewing Co., which is moving into town from its current spot about a half mile south.

The brewery, which was purchased by Anheuser-Busch in 2014, hopes to open the new location by September 2017.

Flo’s Luncheonette at Corey Beach in Blue Point has been a warm-weather standby since 1926. The year-round Patchogue location served a similar menu of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads, plus breakfast every day from 7 to 11:30 a.m.

A message posted on Facebook on Tuesday said that being in Patchogue “has given us the privilege of serving our loyal seasonal fans on a year-round basis while also allowing us to ‘meat and eat’ with the greater Patchogue community at large.”

While Flo’s management considers another year-round location, “Flo’s Blue Point, the Flo’s Food Truck and Flo’s Corey Beach concession will be primed and ready for what hopes to be a WonderFlo 2017 Summer Season.”

Flo’s last day in Patchogue is Dec. 31.

Flo’s Luncheonette is at 225 W. Main St., Patchogue; 888-FLOS-TOGO (888-356-7864), flosfamous.com
