Two years after launching a luxury Italian ice cart, Dolce Bella is on to its second act. Owner Brandyn Williams is taking his mobile business selling Italian ices, gelato and cannoli to a static kiosk at Roosevelt Field mall.

Located on the ground level outside of JCPenney, the  double-sided kiosk turns out traditional flavored ices and gelato  from one side, candy- and cookie- infused cannoli from the other.

Cannoli flavors run the gamut, including espresso, vanilla sprinkle doughnut, snickers, pistachio and Reese's Pieces. Traditional and rainbow cookie cannoli cake, as well as chocolate mousse, and other rotating options take up a nearby display area. Whole cakes — for pick up or delivery — are available by pre-order with at least two-days notice, as is a one-foot cannoli.

“Everything is imported from Sicily,” said Williams, adding that even the milk is  "straight off the boat.”

Williams added a handful of new offerings to his menu, like brioche (meant to be stuffed with gelato) and  cookie sandwiches stuffed with gelato or cannoli cream. More unusual: the “Dolce boom,” a serving of Italian ice or gelato topped with an edible bubble of flavored smoke meant for the customer to pop before an additional scoop of ice or gelato. Lemon and coconut ice that’s topped with edible gold flakes has a spot on Dolce’s secret menu.

All 11 of Williams’ mobile carts — 10 black-and-white gelato and ices carts and one gold-accented cannoli cart — remain available for private parties around Long Island.

Dolce Bella is at 630 Old Country Rd. in Garden City. It’s open during mall hours — Mondays to Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. More info: 516-988-8302; dolcebellany.com
