Mizuno in Wantagh: New Japanese

Mizuno, a Japanese restaurant with traditional fare and some contemporary accents, has opened in Wantagh.

The Jerusalem Avenue spot includes sushi and sashimi, teriyakis and tempuras. But the kitchen also sends out dishes such as cilantro tuna with mango and avocado; peppered tuna; and grilled striped bass with shallot crisps.

Sushi rolls are in the $4-to-$9 range; main courses with soup and salad, $19 to about $30. Lunch is $9-to-$12.
