Muse Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge, the colorful and creative New American eatery, has closed in Water Mill but is set to reopen in Sag Harbor in April.
Chef-owner Matthew Guiffrida's kitchen moves into the former address of Pomme Cafe and, earlier, JLX Bistro. The space is undergoing a major renovation and redesign. But fans of Guiffrida's big blue LED tank of tropical fish won't be disappointed.
There will be some holdovers from the Water Mill menu, too, including "Not Ya Mama's Meatballs," Guiffrida's combo of Italian, Swedish, Asian and Thanksgiving-style versions.
You'll also find a tuna trio, featuring tartare, blackened and seared fish; wasabi-jerked duck and cranberry-duck confit; and "Grandma G's zeppole," with raspberry, vanilla and caramel sauces.
Expect appetizers in the $8-to $18 range; main dishes, $19 to $38; and a $29.95 fixed-price menu.
Muse in the Harbor, 16 Main St.., Sag Harbor; 631-899-4810.
Muse in the Harbor will near the Sag Harbor Marina.
