Greenvale Chase Bank branch robbed by masked gunman, police say

A masked man brandishing a silver automatic handgun robbed a Chase Bank in Greenvale on Wednesday morning, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The robbery happened at 9:15 a.m. at the bank’s 57 Northern Blvd. location. There were six employees and two customers present at the time.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a dark hooded shirt, dark pants, gloves and a mask.
Police say he demanded money from a teller before he fled on foot through the north side exit doors and headed in an unknown direction.
