Suffolk police on Thursday arrested a Bronx man who they said slipped on women’s underwear while inside a portable toilet last week before exposing himself to more than a dozen West Babylon Senior High School field hockey players.

Edward Foley, 29, of Robinson Avenue, was being held at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal trespassing on school grounds, Suffolk police said.

It was unclear whether he had retained an attorney.

Sgt. Kenneth McHugh said that on Oct. 4 Foley entered a portable toilet on school grounds at 500 Great East Neck Rd. in West Babylon at about 5 p.m. and put on women’s underwear. At some point, McHugh said, he opened the door of the toilet and exposed himself to the female players, who were practicing on the field about 50 feet away.

"He stripped down to women's underwear and opened the door," McHugh said, adding that about 14 players witnessed the incident.

Foley then put his clothes back on and left the area in his 2012 Ford White Focus. but was arrested Thursday at his home, police said.

Police urge anyone who might have been a victim to contact the First Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8148.
