Man tried to rob West Babylon BP gas station, police say

Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help finding the man armed with a gun who tried to rob a gas station in West Babylon last month.
The man entered the BP station at 367 Sunrise Hwy. about 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 10 and demanded money, but he left without getting any, police said.
He was about 6 feet tall and fled in a four-door Jeep Wrangler, police said.
There is a cash reward of up to $5,000 and anyone with information about the crime can call police at 800-220-8477.
