A Queens woman was charged with grand larceny after she stole more than $50,000 using employee credit cards for personal purchases while working at a Long Island medical center, Nassau County police said.

Police said Rosalyn Persaud, 34, of Rosedale, worked as an executive assistant at North Shore-LIJ Perioperative Services, at 1979 Marcus Ave., North New Hyde Park, from Dec. 1, 2013, to Dec. 11, 2015, when she had access to six JPMorgan Chase corporate credit cards belonging to employees of Northwell Health, formerly known as North Shore-LIJ Health System.

Police said she used four of the cards to make more than $50,000 in personal purchases, and she falsified the records of those purchases in business documents.

A police investigation led officers to Persaud, officials said, and Persaud was arrested at her home on Friday.

Persaud is charged with second-degree grand larceny and falsifying business records, both felonies. She was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
