Police have released a surveillance image of a man they said they are seeking in connection with the robbery of Roslyn Savings Bank on Sunrise Highway in East Massapequa on Jan. 25, 2018. Credit: NCPD

Nassau County police said they are looking for the man who robbed a bank Thursday on Sunrise Highway in East Massapequa.

Police said the man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 6199 Sunrise Hwy. just after noon and gave a 61-year-old teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied and the man fled east on Sunrise Highway on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Police described the robber as being about 30 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches, to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build and wearing sunglasses, a gray, hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information on the robbery should call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477, police said.
