Uniondale liquor store burglar goes empty-handed, police say
Nassau County police said they are looking for a burglar who slithered through the roof and into a Uniondale liquor store early Wednesday.
At about 12:15 a.m., patrol officers responding to an alarm at Front Street Liquor at 1085 Front St., determined that a masked man entered the building through the rooftop, looked around and left the way he got in, according to a news release.
Police said it appears the burglar did not make off with any proceeds.
