The NYPD on Monday identified a man shot dead Saturday in the Bronx as Craig Thomas, 41, of West Hempstead.

Police responded at 1:29 p.m. Saturday to the corner of E. 214th Street and Wilson Avenue and found the victim identified Monday as Thomas unconscious with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said in a news release.

First responders transported him to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A second man, 34, was shot in the right arm and taken to Montefiore Medical Center, police said. He was in stable condition Monday night, police said.

The name and the hometown of the second victim were not immediately released.

No arrests have been made, according to the NYPD.
